Looking for a fresh new client at the end of every project is tiresome. It's hard. It takes effort and energy. 

We are developers, designers, coders, writer and we DO NOT want to do marketing, we do not want to do excessive sales. Many of us are introverts and this much selling feels painful and unnatural.
